When will I see results from a Radiesse® treatment?Radiesse volumizing filler restores facial volume immediately after treatment.
How long does Radiesse® last?Radiesse is a longer lasting dermal filler and can last up to 12 months. Its unique formulation of calcium-based microspheres has been shown to stimulate the natural production of your own facial collagen. In time your body will absorb Radiesse but it will leave behind natural collagen for a long-lasting result.
Is treatment with Radiesse® painful?Radiesse is injected under the skin. Prior to injecting, Dr. Johnson may numb the area with a cold pack application or anesthetic cream. The entire procedure takes less than 60 minutes. There is little to no downtime after Radiesse injections.
Will I experience any side effects?Side effects are uncommon. Possible side effects may include: redness, infection, allergic reactions, bruising and/or discomfort at the injection site. Dr. Johnson will discuss the possibility of side effects at time of your treatment.
